So...what is the point in everyday wear now?

With Seasons coming, where the hot and cold outfit categories will have some gameplay effect, what do you do for everyday wear? (I haven't watched the livestream so idk if this has been answered but) ...

I miss a lot of the clothes from TS2. I usually just dress my sims' everyday outfits to reflect their lifestyle and personality/age
