So what you think the surprise update will be ?

Burglars are coming up.  I'm hoping beyond hope that we will finally get Spiral Stairs & that Fairies will come this year.

Burglers but I hope we get more new content then just burglers. I'm still hoping we get a heart shaped hottub for the 25th Anniversary. 

I do not  want  burglers in my game. It WILL make me stop playing because you can not shut it off. I am hoping for a add on you can buy.

Maybe the surprise is they fixed the weather effect in the houses.

Sharing is caring NAP does exactly that. It's like the burglar on steroids. 😁 When you have to replace chairs, computers and what not every play session it does not seem like so much fun anymore. 

Today is obviously burglar day in the Sims world, Look what appeared for me this morning in Sims Freeplay …

If we are getting burglars, then I'm hoping for burglar alarms like in TS2, so when they come the alarms goes off. 

All hints are pointing towards burglars, so I think that will be the bulk of the update. Perhaps we might get some CAS or build and buy assets too if we're lucky. Let's hope they didn't forget to add burglar alarms!

While I have no problem with burglars returning to the Sims 4, I just hope they get the tuning right. My prediction is that there's going to be an influx of burglaries in everyone's game, to the point where it's just plain silly, so here's hoping it's reasonably balanced.

I just hope they will not appear every single night just because they are a new addition. My sims need their sleep. Hopefully the alarm will reduce the chance of burglary, like in RL. And a dog with certain traits might keep the burglar away, too :)  Looking forward to the first 5 break-ins, though. Agnes, keep that purse ready on your bedside table!

Burglars will be welcome, but I do hope we can set their appearance frequency somehow. And, that burglars will steal valuable stuff only, not the cheapest of chairs etc. In the long run it will be boring to have your household wake up just because a buglar stole some clutter worthy of §50. And, that they will not seal customly created photos and paintings etc that can not be replaced. I expect my sim to be able to buy some insurance, would in fact be nice if both fire insurance and burglary insurance would be something we actually need to buy. There could even be several versions, the Landgraabs should need to pay a bit more than Bob Pancake. Maybe a percentage og the lot value would do :)  Would aldo be fun if they won't always break in, but some times showing up just to walk by. Then we would be given the worries without getting the full package every time. 

I expect burglars . I hope they will be a lot challenge, that way we as a player could decide which lots are at risk. 

Furthermore I would hope for 

• update for infants, toddlers, there is another thread about this possibility 
• Tattoo layering for base game
• Fixes for the game in general, and an end to the issues with residential rentals in particular. Also please allow adult aged sulani elementals again. The life and death update messed them up.
