Are you referring to what I just wrote? Since when does mentioning the fact that there is a seashell stamp equate to me saying there is going to be a tropical beach themed pack like it’s a fact? I know some people strongly believe a tropical or beach vacation is the next GP but I’m not one of those people. I’m simply pointing out it’s not outside the realm of possibility. It’s not crazy to suspect a beach theme could be next.

Frankly I don’t even care a whole lot about what is next because I will be waiting a long time for what I really want in the game. But I still like to entertain ideas. And so do most of the people who frequent this section of the forums

Seasons and weather, my friend. Seasons and weather. I’m hopeful it’ll be the next EP but it still feels like a long wait to go until next November. And I’d also really like an education related pack. Who knows when that may be coming, if ever.

This might be a stupid question, but why won't the developers just say what they are currently working on? What would they lose if they said hey guys we're currently working on this and that, instead of two months before releasing the game? Wouldn't people get more hyped, consider staying with ts4 and be able to make requests/wishes?

I totally agree with you. I’m not sure why they’ve chosen this hush hush approach with sims 4, but I find it frustrating at times, as I’m sure many do. There would be far less whining about people wanting seasons, for example, if they said it was the next pack (like they used to do back in the day). But... I guess that’s their choice

No way, it's almost official now the next packs will be SP13 Laundry Day Stuff and GP06 Tropical/Summer vacation

How is a tropical vacation pack considered ALMOST official when all there are is a few hints people want to believe are real?

Same as GP04 Vampires, we get some data files in the patches.

That means 3 things :
- soon = the next quarter
- game pack
- theme = tropical


But I'm not enthusiast to get another tiny world like Granite Falls and Forgotten Hollow and compared to Sunlit Tides, the best tropical world of The Sims history.

On the Sims Twitter page they put up a beach looking picture and showed these new items the day we got them and said it was Christmas salute to the Simmers from Down under and all the places that celebrate Christmas during their summers at the beach.

I can agree with that - having been originally from Florida myself.

But not a hint - just slowly trying to cover the Holidays of all Simmers.

Hmmmm - come to think of it - they even got their own forum page - does all that mean a hint the next world is Australia? I'd like that. I have friends there.

In theory, yes, that would be the ideal reaction. I think and this is just my thoughts, the reason why they don't do it is because if they start talking about it early and something changes, fans might not take it too well. Remember when TS4 was being promoted there were things that were said and rumors that never made it to the final cut. So it's more about making the final decisions and coming to terms with what's in and what's out and then telling everyone about the project.

I still think it's a hint. Yes that's what they say but I believe we'll see a tropical vacation either in GP 1 or GP 2 in 2018.

Are we getting India pack too then? We got a lot more stuff for the Diwali Celebration - so does that mean a hint we'll get India too?
