To be honest I don't really think the game is targeting kids as such it's just all ages. I'm guessing they couldn't add anything more mature or else it would mess up their age rating. Would be nice to see more humor again though.
Definitely don't want to see naked sims with "real anatomy" though, there is mods for that and it should stay that way.
