Some details the Sims 4 (and 3) doesn't have O.o

I really wish that amount of detail and quality had been put into the Sims 4. You could tell that it was a game put together with a lot of thought and effort. The Sims 4 as much as I do love it is lacking in so many ways, everything feels rushed, incomplete or just not well thought out or tested. It actually makes me sad. If it wasn't for the graphics I would probably play the Sims 2 instead of 4.

Ha! I actually just watched that video this morning! It's weird they "forgot" some of those details.

This is why the sims 2 will always be the best game in this series. I miss playing it so much.

Sims 2 is the best sims game!

After so many years you would think the game is getting better , alas no . How I miss those little details that make the sims feel so alive. I love sims 2 , it's still the best of them all.

Yeah, Sims 2 is by far the best and was the pinnacle for the series. TS3 was great too and although it didn’t have that level of detail with the sims themselves it certainly propelled the series forward. TS4 has some great things but live mode is rather boring, and lacks depth. It certainly is a pretty game but it’s stale. It’s unfortunate but the trend seems to be downward. I don’t see EA or Maxis doing what they did in the past. I have very little hope for TS5 if it comes and have pretty much concluded 4 is the last one for me. I just went back to 3 and have been having such a blast with it. With time I’ll revisit 2 as well. Much more fun to be had with those games despite the graphics being a bit aged.

Ah, I played TS2 a lot, and the background music brought on tons of memories! Nostalgia!

One detail I'm glad we do not have in TS4 though, is needing to fetch the milk bottle from the fridge.

I just watched that video on a different thread. I'm going in to Origin to work on my sims 2 and see if it's running properly. Best game ever. Best Sims ever.

I actually had high hopes that 4 was going to go back to some of the beauty of 2 after the mistakes of 3, but nope. They just took the mistakes and made them even worse.

I've never played Sims 2, but it seems amazing. :)
I wish we had more small details in Sims 4. When I watch Sims 2 videos it makes me want to play it so much. I love Sims 4, but I totally understand why Sims 2 is so much loved among Sims players.
