Honestly, I can't see myself ever being interested in a Sims 5. Like Sim City 4, when they came out with Sim City 5, I checked it out, but meh.
If a Sims 5 came out, it would be starting from scratch again. For Sims 4, the packs are great over-all, and the mod community has done an awesome job. Someone even made a tiny mod where the pendulum on the grandfather clock swings back and forth, lol!
Just yesterday I found a mod that adds more dance moves (animations), and even romantic slow dancing. So yeah. (I haven't added the slow dancing mod yet. I prefer to add one at a time. Test it out first, make sure there are no problems.)
Apparently there is a mod there also that makes kids behave more like... well, more like kids.
Whatever was in Sims 2, could be incorporated into Sims 4. Sims 2 being an old game now, in 4 it should be a sinch to re-code it. Sell it as a stuff pack, whatever, that's cool. Mods have already done alot of that. Probably why I don't complain much like others. ;)
The recent "Tiny Living" pack has great stuff in it, however, what would have got me to buy it right away would be spiral staircase and ladders. Not the Murphy bed, heh heh!
