Some help needed please

I have been an inactive forum member and sims 4 player for a while now and thought it was about time I got back into it so I purchased some EPs. I just have a few questions I wondered if people could help me out with:
Firstly pets: I have just got a dog (puppy) adopted and just wondered how long it takes for the dog to age? Is there anyway to view this as a timeline? Is there any way to speed this process up?
My sims also own a business selling flowers, when you employ employees you see their 'skills' in retail, is there a similar skill for active sims? Is there a way to make their sales abilties better and easier to sell items with the blue bar above their heads?
If my sim teenager has a bf, what happens when my sim ages up to adult? Will the bf also age up or will my sim have to wait until he does?
Any tips for parties when moodlet demands occur: e.g. make 3 sims playful, then make 3 sims flirty, its quite difficult getting these emotional statuses without having to change them at the last minute.
There may be some other things - I will let you know if I think of them.
