I. Slob butlers will probably leave stuff around the house. I know slob waiters leave piles of dishes on tables in the restaurants.
II. For nectar, I placed in the basement a rack for every type of nectar sims can make. I have planted several fruits and veggies, basically whatever came with a few packs of seeds and some seeds bought from the grocery store. They make nectar from whatever grows in their garden that is suitable for nectar making, then it's stored in the specific rack and allowed to age. I only remove my plants when they die, but I try to plant different plants that can be harvested in different seasons so there's always something to pick from the garden. Even if there are no harvestable grapes in winter for example, there is usually enough leftover grapes and fruit to make wine from when the plants were in season.
