I have played my Sim, Erik Cantrell, several times since I brought him into Sims4. He's been to Uni in past saves. Fans have gotten into his house in past saves. This is a FIRST for me. Generally, he never had any awards with him, until another very kind player created a small mod that would override the Starlight Accolade going straight into the Family Inventory, which is completely necessary when a Sim is in Uni. I packed up his awards, the two Best Song awards and the three Meet & Greet awards he earned on his way to the top. I took a risk, however. I allowed Erik to place one of his Best Song Awards on the shelf of his computer desk in his dorm room. Did he keep the door locked? No. I just now noticed that it is MISSING! With all of the fans, Paparazzi and dormmates roaming in and out, it's entirely impossible to know who stole Erik's Best Song Accolade. That is LOWER than low.No worries, he can purchase another one, but this boggles my mind, on the one side, yet was quasi-expected on the other. I'm just wondering why it's taken me so long to realize it's gone! They only have two days left to the term!Oh, well. It had to happen at some point, right? Stans are suggested to be the ones who, if they get in, my divest your celebrity of a memento or two.

Or maybe he has a klepto in the dorm. Sorry @GalacticGal That is absolutely incredible. I love this game, there is always something new to learn.

Childish adult sims will steal toys from kids they are visiting.

You have my sympathy! My first celebrity after GF came out, won an award. Of course I proudly placed it on the fireplace mantle. He had a friend visiting, and I saw her walk up to the fireplace and snatched the award. It was gone. Even had her move in, but it wasn't in her inventory. She was homeless, so nothing in household inventory either. Of course I noticed after the move-in that she was a klepto. I do believe she was a paparazzi, and they're all kleptos.

If it were a hidden possibility with starstruck sims, that would be a great surprise that they actually added that much depth.

I do know that under the description of a Stan, they they are capable of availing themselves of something that belongs to their idol, as a memento. So, while I do agree a Sim with the kleptomaniac Trait could also be suspect, I'm leaning toward the Stan, who did make an appearance at the Dorm.

@GalacticGal In addition to many many other LilMsSam mods, I'm using the "Genders & More" lot trait from her. I add it to many venues to deny access to certain sims, mainly fans and paparazzi. Its a blessing really, celebs can go out and have fun without the constant "fangirling" (which I think is utterly ridiculous) or paps following them all over the place.

Erik played his Simstavarious (15,000) violin before he took off for his first class of the day. I thought I'd grabbed it and swept it into his personal inventory. So, when I heard the lovely strains of a violin being played, I moved the camera to find a dorm mate was in Erik & Aaron's room playing a violin. Upon checking Erik's inventory, his violin wasn't there. I can only assume, that one is his, since there aren't any other violins in the dorm. She stopped playing it and I was waiting for her to set it down, so I could secure Erik's property, since he's on the other end of the dorm. Does she put it down? NO! She put it into her own inventory. She stole it right in front of my eyes! face/palm.

Do you know of a mod wherein Erik can give his dorm mate the third degree and get that highly expensive violin back? I don't mind the fans and paparazzi hanging around so much, as that's a clear sign he's still on top! It's the stealing I can't abide!

I really don't know. I do have a mod, I think by Bienchen, that will prevent swiping. So they wouldn't be able to steal MORE of his stuff.

I think the lesson here is "do not bring you extremely expensive and/or valuable treasures with you to college and leave them laying around the dorm." :)

Also, did you delete the DU pre-mades? I'm not sure if I added it or she came that way. I delete all premades but first give them all makeovers and save them to my tray for MCC to use whenever the game needs to generate a sim. I get a kick out of seeing Bella as the pizza delivery or mailperson. I pretend she's on a super secret spy mission.

Anyways! Back on track.....Lillian Pleasant has the klepto trait. She's getting a villany degree. Again, not sure if she's that way originally or it was added. If she's still in your game, go check her inventory. The little mischievous thief.

I didn't delete them, per se, but I removed all who were in Wyvern Hall before I gave it a slight remodel. Mostly adding stuff the kids would need, and I didn't see the shower stalls in time. I added taller half-walls and put door into them to make the two shower stalls more private. Oh, well. We'll see how this whole thing plays out. LOL What a second term, my Sims are having, though. Oi!

Yes, but I thought I had slid the violin back into Erik's personal inventory! My bad. It's the only violin he owns. LOL

Thank you. But he really didn't bring that much with him. Most is kept in his personal inventory. I just thought it would feel more like home to him if he kept one trophy on the shelf on the computer table. My bad. :open_mouth:
