The playful moodlet can be dangerous. I’ve lost 2 sims the exact same way you did. They became hysterical and before they could calm down at the mirror the grim reaper appeared. Now anytime I get a playful moodlet I watch what other moodlets it’s combined with. If there are too many happy ones I immediately try to get rid of the playful one even if it means tea or berries. Just get rid of it asap.
