To the OP, YES, yes my sims wave their hand in front of their face and the stinky boot is in the thought bubble. I have had this for at least 4 months, real time and I can't get rid of it either, but with my game, almost every household has this problem...stinky kitchen. I've tried everything too. Well, tbh I did not hire a maid for a day, if I can't find it, she won't. :D I've pretty much given up on the issue. Your thread is the first time I've heard of others who are experiencing it.
