Something is stinky

And I can't seem to find it. It's only happening in one of my playable house. Only in the kitchen/dinning area. I've taken out the trash, washed up all dishes and spoiled food. There's nothing in their inventory. And I even removed the entire kitchen, seeing if it was a misplaced dish or something. There is nothing there, yet all my sims get the sticky animation with the funky boot thought bubble. And the filthy surroundings moodlet. What could be causing this? Has anyone else seen this?

    Any of your sims have the Neat trait? Click on them when energized and select 'Cleaning Frenzy' and maybe they'll find the dirty object on their own. I don't remember if they can clean house while in other emotions.

    I do, the mom. And I did that as well but I still ended up with the same results. Stinky room.

    It's a farm so I don't want to destroy their crops.

    If all else fails, I guess they are just going to have to live with it. I'll just act like it's an old house with a musty smell in certain areas.

    Anybody know if dirty objects get passed through the gallery? @GoldenBuffy, If you don't figure it out, you mind uploading the lot so I can check it out? Maybe I can figure out where the smell is coming from. I love a challenge.

    I also wonder if filth is saved when you save a lot to your library? If not, you can save the lot, then bulldoze the current one and replace it with the one from your library.

    @GoldenBuffy I've had this happen to me. Never could find a cause and it would eventually go away on it's own. Maybe see if someone has something in their inventory or travel to a different lot and back to see if it changes? I assume you've saved and restarted and it's still there?
