Something kinda freaky happened in Britechester...

So recently I installed Discover University and I've been enjoying trying out the new features, but I recently noticed that the new world Britechester is duplicated on the "Manage Worlds" screen:

I didn't think much of it, but soon noticed I was seeing the NPC's that package with the new pack A LOT...

Then I bump into Angela Pleasant. Twice. At the same time:

It looks like Britechester (and everyone in it), has been duplicated. Two unique versions of the same world and 2 unique versions of each NPC.

Have you experienced this? Is there a fix? (Do I even want to fix it? I get twice as many lots...)

    I had something similar happen with a sim in my library. The first one i placed in Windenburg and married him off and he had three kids. A few months later i bump in to said sim but when i checked him out with MCCC the game had moved him in to Evergreen Harbour so i had two Des Clarkes, one married and the other one a bachelor who is still alive. I called the Evergreen Harbour Des, "Fake Des"

    This has been happening since the Werewolves patch.
    I saw your bug report about Britechester specifically, there is also this one about other worlds

    I see Crinrict posted a workaround, maybe it would work for you.

    This never happened to me yet, I'm wondering if it could be related to magic realm duplication spell? I currently have other glitch with my knitting objects, things that my sims knit disappear somewhere... Try to repair your game and see if it will fix the problem.

    The one labeled Britechester is actually Sulani. Something is amiss. I would do a game repair, and if all else fails, do a game reset. Neither are difficult, just removed your Mods folder first, if you have mods/cc.

    Ah, the Doppelganger Effect. Had a bout of that back in Sims3, once.

    Thanks for the advice all! I'm actually on console so quite limited in what I can do. We'll see if it's patched :)
