It's your job to look through them and find the not quit round ones and take them out. I'ts a huge task. Then along comes somebody and pours another bag of the same kind of marbles into the bag you're going through. Want the job?
I understand your reasoning. While not a programmer, i have friends who are and from what i heard, messing with code is a daunting task indeed. Still, why did they add pools into the game since they would run the risk of breaking it? What about the two new careers? What about toddlers and other stuff that people are asking for? Should they never add them just because there is a probability that new bugs will be introduced?

While i agree on that, i think that making books take longer to write would not be optimal. Many people like it and that's fine. It's the rest of the careers and professions that need to be buffed.
Programming isn't like it used to be when I was doing it, now it's modular and coded by a lot of different teams. Apparently they were confident that the pool module and the modules it locked into were bug-free enough to fit without crashing, and it seems they were. Now basements? Not so much. The basements themselves are great, they just collide with the terrain on some lots. Maybe it's because the lots aren't perfectly level.
Patience, nobody wants a frozen, crashing, glitching game. One thing at a time. Give them a chance to clear some of the more fatal bugs. Most programmers sleep very little, they're working on it as hard as they can. Think the main problem is the game's a Frankenstein's monster, engine mod from one source, CAS from another, Build from another and so on. Getting all those modules (programmed by different teams in different locations who weren't working together) to fit seamlessly isn't easy. I'd hate the job of tying them together.
