@Writin_Reg - Yes, the washers and dryers from the store required you to have Ambitions because laundry came in that expansion pack; however, I think this is a bit different because with this particular pack, you're paying $10 dollars and if you don't have C&D, you can't use the entire pack, so you're not really getting the whole kit and kaboodle, are you? Back to your laundry example, if you don't have Ambitions, why would you go to the store and want to buy washers and dryers?
Had they separated these packs and made it a small pets game pack; I doubt we'd be seeing the same backlash. Saying that though, I think the C&D items would have needed to be a patch for the backlash that this pack is receiving to be minimal.
