Do people genuinely consider it one of the best? I assumed it's a popular opinion that it's one of the weakest as it's just a big stuff pack (again)
I have to completely disagree with you here. It's a must-have for me, and one of the main reasons I originally loved Game Packs so much. In fact, there's a good chance it's my favorite GP of all time. (Admittedly, I have Paranormal but haven't played with that yet, which also looks fabulous.)
Moreover, it adds TONS of gameplay, for many of us. I play rotationally, and I don't have a single household that goes a single sim day without using some aspect of the pack. Most importantly, most of my sims do yoga. But then there's also meditation, massage tables and chairs, the special baths, the fizzy drinks, the new wellness recipes... and that's before you even get to B/B and CAS, which I do also love.
It's totally valid if it's one of the weakest in your opinion, because it represents a lifestyle that may not be entertaining or crucial to everyone's playstyle, and that's fine. But I think it's a pretty big leap to say that it's universally regarded as weak (as opposed to, say, something like JtB).
