I'm more excited about this than I thought I would be I guess, I did finally have them wear off but I wish they lasted longer since we have the option to click on the sim and just take them off but I went in cas and gave them back what they lost. Cute though.

Do you mean the UI showing in your screenshots? You can change it in the game options menu I believe, there should be a check box for capturing the UI, you can just uncheck it.

You can change them per outfit if you add them in CAS, but they stay the same if you have a manicure at the spa.

Thanks! Reading the manicure lasts only so and so many hrs, I think i'll fix their nails in CAS, but assuming they can have their nails done at the Spa anyway for the experience/lifestyle/story aspects of it.

I've added another spa to my game, this time in Glimmerbrook. I haven't spent a lot of time in that world, so decided to see what it's like to live there while enjoying a new spa. :)

I gave a couple of sims spa aspirations and discovered they're rewarded passes to the spa! Awesome. The main reason my families don't visit spas often is because, unless they're wealthy, it can be expensive. So I fell in love with those aspirations right away. :D

I found a nice spa build on the Gallery and renovated it for Glimmerbrook. The original build is called Cordelia's Secret Retreat. Here's what my modified version looks like in Glimmerbrook.

I haven't yet had a chance to check out all the changes, but my current test-god clearly loves his upgraded massage chair, and I didn't even have to change a thing in his home spa. Win-win. But I suspect he might be like "Where was this foot tub hiding all this time?" :lol:

Dude I haven't played the sims or been in the forums since the release of Cottage Living, for personal reasons etc., and I come back to FIND THIS SPA DAY UPDATE, holy cow! This is actually really amazing, I never thought they'd actually go back and "fix" old packs. And I for one loved Spa Day already. I hope they can do something similar for C&D eventually, this is frikken amazing! <3

@simgirl1010 Thank you! :) I think the original builder did a great job creating a simple but elegant spa. I made a few changes so the style would fit more into the Glimmerbrook world: roof, trim, the big tree. And I put the meditation pillows under a new gazebo to protect sims from Glimmerbrook's weather. I also expanded the dressing room because there were only two wardrobes to begin with, and sims were having trouble changing.
