Sparkles and plumbob
How do you remove the sparkles when a Sim is talking or doing something and also the plumbob. I want to take screenshots without those present.

- I'm not sure if this works with the plumbob, but have you tried going to settings, screen capture, and making sure the box that says "capture UI" is NOT checked in the memory/picture section? If you have more than one Sim, I'm suggest switching to a different one to make sure the plumbob is out of the picture.
- The sparkles are most likely from a lot trait. You need to take that off whatever lot you happen to be on.
Also to temporarily get rid of the plumbob as well as text bubbles the code is
headlineeffects off - Thank you SeaDragonSong and LadyKyn. The headlineeffects off turns off the plumbob and removing the traits from the building removes the sparkles. I find the sparkles distracting and make it impossible to get a clean screenshot. Thanks again. Much appreciated
- If you're not opposed to using mods, there is one that removes the sparkly lot trait effects. I've been using it for a long time now and it works perfectly.
