I liked the sims 3 store as well and would love to have one for sims 4.
Sims guru ninja made a post that they couldn't want to show what's "in store" for the sims, what if they meant that literally like what's going to be in the sims 4 store. I don't think the upcoming event is purely to showcase the sims 5 or another sims 4 expansion although I would love another expansion before the year ends.
My favorite part about the sims 3 store were the world's... another guru made a post about her most recent vacation, maybe we are getting a sims 4 store with some new vacation worlds... this is definitely a reach and wishful thinking buuuut it's possible.
