It shouldn't be doing that at all. That was fixed in the first or second patch after RoM came out.
Granted, RoM was like the second pack to come out after I started playing, so I don't have any saves from before that to compare to, but I haven't had Katrina, Bob, or even Bella show up as a spellcaster in any of my saves started since they patched it out of Realm of Magic.
