Spells in RoM = Scientist 'powers' ...?
Lately i have been reading and strongly analizing everything related to RoM. I used to enjoy witches in previous games, but there's something that puts me off in Realm of magic... i don't know exactly...

So many people compare the cloning spell to the cloning and get to work and they're not even remotely the same.
The spell creates a temporary clone, that does your bidding and disappears from existence after it expires. If the spell backfires you cannot control the clone and it will wreak havoc on your lot.
It's more in line with the spectral servants in Sims 2. It's basically a good maid service that you can conjure out of thin air.
Maybe the reason a lot of people confuse them, It's because there was a glitch at first or sometimes the clones would accidentally be permanent, But they fixed that.
You are right I actually was thinking of the copypasto spell and how you can use the cloning machine to duplicate some items. Those two things are similar but I wouldn't want a witch to have to get out the cloning machine to do that. That would be kind of breaking character. Not to mention copypasto is faster and you don't have to carry anything around with your to do it and sometimes you can make more than one at a time. I usually get perks for my witches now so failure isn't really something I have to put up with for them.
I never had the glitch where the cloned sim remained when I do the duplicato (cloning your own sim spell) but I really like ordering them around for awhile for the time they are there.
