**SPOILER:** How to...

Reinfect the town. I revived Mother (you'll need the bizarre fruit to do this, get it from the curio stand) and wasn't sure if the 'request weirdness' option would allow me to reinfect the town or turn my sim into one of the infected.

From Sims Community;

What are the benefits to reviving The Mother? The revived Mother will have some new options available. You can request bizarre fruit from her and communicate with her, but the most interesting interaction is Request Weirdness. Clicking on this will allow you to set the infection level of the town. There is a low, medium, and high option as well as an option for no infection. You can use these options to keep StrangerVille as normal or as weird as you like.

Reviving The Mother also allows you to play through the story again with a different family if you want to. This is useful if you want to try and complete the story a different way; the story can be completed as a civilian or through the military career. You can also give the Hero of StrangerVille trait to another Sim by completing the story again.

    Can you infect any sim I mean it doesn't necessarily have to be the sims in Strangerville you can feed the bizarre fruit to is it?

    I had an infected sim in my library. I placed her in a different save in my Vamp world. I was able to infect a vamp in that world. I controlled the process by using the mischief option and having the fruit in my inventory. Never touched the story at all in the new pack with this save.

    Was the infection permanent or did it wear off after a while?
  • Hi guys can anyone help?

    I followed the instructions posted above and reset my game using cheats and a random sim.

    I set the weirdness level to maximum but when I switched back to the sim I want to play as, the challenge that came up told me to assemble a team but I thought that was one of the later challenges?

    Can I set my game back to the beginning of the story?

    You mean the aspiration?
    The aspiration is only there to help you guide through the story. Aspirations cannot be resetted. Ignore it and focus on the story (aka solving the mystery).
    However, because you set it on maximum weirdness, the hallway isn't full of spores. This means that your sim doesn't need a hazmat suit. If you set the weirdness to moderate, the hallway is full of spores.
