I lived in a house where the stairs went to the 2nd floor, not only from the entry way, but also from the kitchen. You can only use one word, unless you know the name of the item or the person who created it, when you search in the Gallery.
Has anyone built a house with stairs like this or seen one?
@catmando830 Thank you. I haven't put it up, but I'll be happy to do so. I'm glad you like it. Give me a bit of time. I may have left the upstairs unfinished. Or, you can finish it yourself, if you like. :)
The roof will never be like the original house's roof. That front A-roof curved downward on the one-side to become the roof over the porch. https://i.imgur.com/jNe3T6m.jpg
Two angles on the stairs with cut out walls: You can see the Test Sim on the side. https://i.imgur.com/WTLurCb.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Y9DIHYK.jpg
I'm a tad unhappy because the stairs going to the second floor are almost 'floating' on the hall side. I think I like the winder stairs better, even though they don't allow for the Maid's Entrance.
I like it - do you have a gallery link for it?
Hi. I just finished tinkering with the build. I placed it on a smaller lot, 40 X 30. It was originally built on Hound's End in Brindleton Bay. The lot is titled: Magnolia Ave House. My username is the same as on the forums: GalacticGal. I failed to grab the link and I just closed down my game so I can install HSY. Let me know if you have trouble finding it.
