"Stans" stealing the pet bowls from the "Petmate Programatic Pet Feeder" at parks.

I have been using the "Petmate Programatic Pet Feeder" at parks because they didn't seem to disappear like the regular bowls. All of a sudden they were disappearing. Then I caught a "Stan" in the act of stealing them. I know they steal things from my Celebrity Sim's yard, but why the park bowls?

    Kleptos can steal just about anything that's either a small clutter item or something that can be put in your inventory. They should honestly put a lock on the pet dishes to prevent theft, because I don't even thing real life thieves would have so low of morals as to starve animals.

    My first thought was Kleptomaniac. (Should have mentioned that.) But then I saw that they were a "Stan" so I had my non-celebrity Sim with the "Observant" trait greet him. He wasn't a Kleptomaniac. Just a "Stan."

    Yes. Stealing pet dishes is pretty low.

    is there a way to keep certain sims from becoming a stan? and/or remove stan status?

    Stans seem to be random Sims. Maybe someone will Mod them out or figure out how to keep them from stealing things.

    On a home lot I can use the Private Dwelling trait to keep them out, but that doesn't work on public lots.
