starting a buisness

if you wanted to own a business (retail, restaurant, or vet) you'd have to have the required pack to access that lot type. (dine out for a restaurant, get to work for a retail business, or cats & dogs for a vet.) in terms of owning a business from your home lot, at this time you can't run a restaurant/retail/vet from your home lot. you'd have to purchase a separate lot for your business which you could build a house of sorts on to, but the sim would still have a home lot to pays bills at, if that makes any sense.

in city living, i think, you can set up these like seller tables on your lot to be able to sell smaller collectibles & without having to purchase a business lot.
