State of Dream Home Decorator

Dream Home Decorator is playable but it has not been patched so you will encounter some bugs.

The worst one is the bug that prevents you from building, this bug often happens in the later gigs where you are tasked to add new floors. You can sort of bypass that bug by cheating with the console cheat bb.enablefreebuild. Enter the cheat in the console (ctrl+shift+c), leave build mode and enter build mode again so you can build and finish the gig but it won't calculate your budget correctly.

Some people have reported on Answer HQ that the reveal where your clients are supposed to walk inside the room and react and you get the slideshow with your pictures can bug out too, so when you click reveal the gig immediately ends and you get paid. The slideshow sometimes doesn't show for me but the reveal with the clients seems to work like it should.

Other than that the pack works fine for me. People have also reported on Answer HQ that their clients never seemed to be happy but that has not happened to me either.

Sounds like I might just wait for it to go on sale (hopefully will be patched by then). Thanks for the info guys :)

I haven't had any issues with it and I love the pack. My decorator is level 9 now I think.

Maybe there were problems when it first came out? I played the career for the first time yesterday at one of the apartments in the Spice District. Everything went well.

Last I checked, the issues weren't fixed. I was pretty tepid on it to begin with, but at least the BB works well enough if you ignore some of the use values. I currently am not touching the career until patches happen.

I recently encountered a bug that left the gig picking menu blank. I had gotten all the way to level 8 before the empty gig list bug happened. I have other saves, newer saves, so I started over and I haven't had issues with the career, so far.
