I think the more relevant question is are you still interested in telling Erik's story. You've been playing him for a long time now. You're a gifted writer so maybe you could give Erik a hiatus and start a brand new character with a brand new story.
Or continue with one of Erik's children. True legacy style.
Thank you for the response. It may be I have reached burn-out, it's true. When a glitch killed him in the most recent past iteration and I wrote his obituary, to be honest I was a bit relieved. I have come to understand why other writer's will move on from the main character in a series they are writing, even when their readers are dismayed at the loss.
I will vegetate on your suggestions. Thank you for giving me something to chew on.
