Ok, it’s not an open world but we could still have them, and have the sims get in and drive a little before the loading screen.
Also what would be nice is being able to have car interactions : wash the car, fix the car etc
TS 2 wasn't open world, yet we still had cars/trucks/vans/helicopters (beautiful interior detail on the choppers, btw) that did just what is mentioned above in terms of use before loading screens. We had one car type that could be restored and driven, with some often amusing animations in the process. Like the idea of the added interactions.
