i modded it now away, had enough of that "feature"

this is like that pets vomit spawned everywhere - NOT FUNNY

one thing is if the kid which i am directing does it, then i can do something, like teaching, scolding but what's the point with kids which are not even housed anywhere so i am not even able to do ANYTHING about it - WHAT'S THE POINT ?

if i want a kid misbehave then i order it on my own to do it
this game just keeps spawning occasions to mod, not really fun, i prefer not to use mods, especially not for the basic gameplay but TS4 without basic fixes is just unnerving to play :confused:

I found this funny for some reason though it happens in my own game. Heck, there was like a kid in front of my home making a mess like 'WHERE ARE YOUR PARENTS'??? Toddlers too. Though whenever my sim leave a lot and come back the mess is gone, so least there's that though. Kinda wish you can scold other kids that are obviously being irresponsible. That and threaten to call their parents as well.

This topic title is cracking me up for some reason. Reminds me of every mom and dad on this planet in real life. LOL.

This is precisely the reason I have not purchased Parenthood, even on sale. I already can't stand having playgrounds everywhere and not being able to change them, but to have ugly messes all over my beautiful Victorian neighborhoods on top of that? No way. I don't even understand why autonomous messes are a feature to begin with. Sure, it's good to have it for the purpose of disciplining the kids, but it should have been a player selected action only. I have no problem using mods, but I just can't take the risk that it would break one day and I'd be stuck with all the messes. I'd lose my mind.

Agreed 500%, worst interaction ever. I thought the whole point of the "making mess" feature was to give parents something to discipline their children about, so what's the point of having non-active kids do it? Even active kids are overdoing this interaction like crazy, but at least we can stop it.

It came with a lot of cool objects, but I personally find most of the interactions extremely annoying. There's also "entering a phase" which makes them stop what they're doing every 5 seconds, moody teens slumping around everywhere & endless pop up from kids asking for advice. This will be the pack that makes me resort to modding.

I wish NPC parents would scold their kids and the active household could scold kids in a way. Intired of seeing these bad kids making messed everywhere also and there nothing my sim can do but clean it up.
