This is precisely the reason I have not purchased Parenthood, even on sale. I already can't stand having playgrounds everywhere and not being able to change them, but to have ugly messes all over my beautiful Victorian neighborhoods on top of that? No way. I don't even understand why autonomous messes are a feature to begin with. Sure, it's good to have it for the purpose of disciplining the kids, but it should have been a player selected action only. I have no problem using mods, but I just can't take the risk that it would break one day and I'd be stuck with all the messes. I'd lose my mind.
