And don't get me started on my sim who grew up in Brindleton Bay, developed the randomly assigned fear of water on a trip to Sulani, and now can't handle living in his home in BB because it's near the ocean.
I like the addition of the fear emotion but I really wish we could control a little more of what our sims fear without having to earn reward store traits to fix them.
Personally, I think only sims with traits like Squeamish and Clumsy should really fear them. Some other traits could have different reactions - hot-headed should be angry, Gloomy should be sad, Perfectionists tense (perfect weather ruined). One way or another, this is an aspect that should have different reactions based on traits. Because this isn't the case, traits are quite meh in TS4.
Another idea would be to have weather-only trait slots for those with seasons - choose one weather you like and one you hate for different results would be nice. Some effects should be tied to occults (such as mermaids being unaffected by storms).
