- PlumbBobbi9 years agoNot applicableMake sure you are getting the storage chest. Toyboxes don't work, and the new thing in Kid's Room is a toybox.
The disappointing thing to me is that you can't have more than one. Well, you *CAN* but they behave as one box. You can't use them to separate your collections. - 3KNPen9 years agoNot applicableWhich chest are you trying to use?
These are the two chests that you should be able to put at least some stuff into (there is some limits I think of what you can place in them though I don't know for sure since I've never actually used them in game)

What are you trying to put inside exactly maybe someone would know if it's possible or not to place it inside a chest.
If you're trying to put stuff into the chests that look like these...

They are toy boxes and won't allow you to put anything inside that's not a toy. - PlumbBobbi9 years agoNot applicableI use the storage chests all the time. I haven't found an upper limit to what they can hold. But not everything can go into them. Just collectibles, I think.
- pepperjax12309 years agoSeasoned AceThanks I never knew that and my sim is a scientist so she is always collecting stuff.
- elliebreton9 years agoLegendI thought they were just deco chests!
- Dancindiva9 years agoNot applicableI had no idea... :)
- IngeJones9 years agoNot applicableI tried one of each. The ones saying they were toy boxes I could put toys in and out of. The other ones I couldn't put anything in, even toys! What I actually wanted to put into them was the crystals and stuff I had been collecting, but I tried everything and nothing went in. The "Open" option was there, but I could't drag either between inventories, nor from floor to chest.

Funny I used them for the crystals and minerals and excess glow fruit in particular. I have no clue why you can't use yours for that. Unless you have some CC or a mod giving you an issue with them. I have no CC and no mods in Sims 4 or Sims 3. That's the only thing I can think of that might be creating an issue for you. Have you tried removing your mod folder and repairing the game. That might help. Try the storage bins before you add your mod folder back in and see what happens. - StilleWaters9 years agoNot applicableDid you try buying a different one? leave your game then come back? Try fixing your game? I have used them since they came out and never had a problem, so it's something with your game. @rosemow can tell you how to fix.
