Story progression mod?

I’ve just started playing my first legacy in TS4. I was a long time TS3 legacy player and now I really miss the story progression mod I used in TS3 that kept the neighbourhood alive and running well. Maybe it’s because it’s early days in this game (my founder has only just given birth!) but nothing seems to be happening to the other sims in the neighbourhood.

I’ve not been playing TS4 for long so I don’t know if it’s meant to be like this. But is there a story progression mod for TS4 that will help things happen to the other townies? I’m looking for something that will make them marry, have kids etc on their own without me controlling them and ideally notify me of it happening so that as the next gen grows up, there will be plenty of other sims being born and keeping the town from dying out.

Thanks! :)

  • You want MC Command Center - it's based on Twallan's TS3 mods:

As you can imagine, it's not a drop-in-and-play mod so I strongly urge you to read the documentation first and then set up a test save to play around in and ensure you have the settings working right for you.

    There's a help thread here: https://forums.thesims.com/en_us/discussion/913483/mc-command-center-local-help-chat-thread#latest

If you have any problems, folk over there will always help you.

The modder, Deaderpool, also has a Discord.

  • Thanks! I’ve been playing around with the mod and it’s exactly what I needed!

I see what you mean about a test save. I did read through everything but I still messed up the settings at first. I didn’t realise you had to enable notifications so I didn’t think anything was happening and I increased the pregnancy settings and well...lets just say there was a very big baby boom! :o :D

So I went back to a previous save and fixed the settings and it seems to be working how I wanted it to now. I’ll definitely check out the help thread if I have any problems again.

    Thanks again! :)
  • Check the bills settings or you'll have to pay millions, the mod is not working right.
