I loathe soap operas. However, what I do want is everything hinted at in descriptions to actually be set in place. The Mayor of Strangetown? Yeah... the guy is unemployed if you actually talk to him. SO not much "Mayoring" there.
The big plot from the base game? Zest vs his parents and being cut off for wanting to be a comedian? Set it up! Make the Landgraabs hate talking to him (and the other way around).
Give the Pancakes actual relationship trouble.
Heck, just patch Pizzazz so she becomes a celeb if you have both City Living and Get Famous installed!
Just... follow thru with your hints, people (the devs)!
