I think one 'problem' that players do (myself included), is make the 'perfect' sims and weed out the negative ones. If you want conflict and storytelling, create or modify some Sims with some of the negative traits. I have a Dastardly Landlord since getting City Living. A randomly generated NPC. I was wondering why there was so much conflict so looked her up in Other Households. I try to get a sim to give a friendly greeting and she basically tells them to "plum off and pay the rent", lol! She has mostly negative traits and even her positive trait can be negative. I felt like deleting her, but then... nah! This could get interesting! ;)
