Storytelling players: Do you ever use cheats to set up your stories?

I'm probably somewhere in between the two yes answers. I have no second thoughts about cheating, but also don't see a purpose if it's not needed.

I'm about to set up a Rags to Riches story - not merely the challenge, but the story archetype - so I'm going to start my sim family then use cheats to develop the relationships where I think they need to be, and the same for a couple of friends (and "friends") for my main sim. But my main sim's skills and such will be built in play only.
