Storytelling players: Do you ever use cheats to set up your stories?

If I have a story in mind about a rich family then I cheat to set them up. Like when I set up my sims 2 Curious Brothers .. I have to give them big bucks and have the house ready to start them off.. there is still plenty for them to do after. Usually I play rags to riches but it's nice to mix it up and play the game from different angles.
