Although I respect your point of view, I'd have to disagree with you. I think repetitiveness is entertaining -if it has different ways to play out the storyline, of course. I love paranormal gameplay, which is why I love Get to Work. Different life forms? A mystery begging to be solved? I'm down for that type of RPG any day.
I just feel like the devs have thrown us lots of realistic packs, now it's time for some more strange ones. I'm all for mixing gameplay styles, as long as there's something unnatural in the mix.
Although I haven't had the chance to play with the pack yet, (still awaiting the giveaway on tumblr to end!) it looks super fun. The CAS and Build/Buy Mode items look really great. Even if I never get the pack, I'm still rating it a solid 10.
I was also happy for the paranormal/sci-fi feel to it, my issue is not about the theme, I like the theme. It is just that the storyline is linear and just a checklist to follow with a lot of loading screens and chatting around. It doesn't have room for thinking and using your logic and it doesn't have different outcomes depending on your decissions.
And I agree as I stated in my OP, the CAS and BB are great overall. But I don't think you should just blindly rate a pack you haven't played. It sounds like you are very positive about it so I think you should get it and see for yourself.
