Gave the story a twist of my own making: namely that my sim, now celebrated as the "hero" has a dark secret: she is actually the one who CREATED the Mother when working as lead scientist in the lab and she took her data and samples to further her own agenda while the government gets the blame atm for the events in the town. What is she up to? nobody knows….yet!
Under Mischief when you click on another sim there is an interaction where you can give them the new fruit if it's in your inventory. Haven't tried it yet, but I think it lets you do exactly that.
