No it's not just you ... not everyone likes the same things.
Me however. I'm over the moon for this idea. I love sci-fi and horror, conspiracy theory stuff ect. I feel they have been adding in basic or family play for so long I'm about to go cross eyed with it. I've been waiting patiently for Witches or Servos ect. This while not what I've been actually anticipating will happen it is right up there with it. I love Strangetown and already have a Sims 4 save waiting. General Buzz has been waiting for a military career and frankly I never thought we would get this sort of stuff in game. I'm so glad to be wrong and very happy it's coming. We'll still get the normal packs (themes) of that I have no doubt.
