Strangerville was fun, and I usually play through it at least once per save now, but once the mystery is over there isn't much reason to go there if your sim doesn't live there (although my military sims seem to end up hanging out at the 8 bells anyway - it is a pretty nice dive bar.)
I do like the build/buy elements, though. And a lot of the CAS assets.
I'm still figuring out RoM, but I feel the gameplay has longer usability than Strangerville.
I love both, don't get me wrong. Don't regret getting Strangerville for a second. But I'm having more fun with RoM
