In the sims 2 , Bella Goth was abducted by aliens and the spaceship crash landed in Strangetown and caused a crater. What if something from that ship leaked in to the water supply and infected it and the gardens around it? That may explain the mentions of water and fruit in some of the gurus tweets.
Sorry to sound like a conspiracy theorist but the Bella Goth/ Strangetown mystery is one of my favorite things from past sim games so I am loving all of this. :D
But is it also turning all the frogs strange? :p
