It's a very pretty and interesting world. And it has great environmental sound design, which worlds as ie Sulani is lacking. I really should move more households over there. I currently play only 3 houses there.

Gorgeous pic, and yes! the sounds are amazing in this world.
I have started a new save recently and am currently playing through the mystery again in my rotation. The couple has the female in the military and the guy in the science career (and he's also doing a biology degree from home, so he's pretty busy!). I replaced the crashed aeroplane with a military base (gym) and my sim trains there frequently. But she likes photography too and is always taking pictures of this awesome world to hang on their walls.
Also, the Star Wars stuff looks great there. I have Batuu styled homes in the whole of the top portion of the world and they look fab.
I actually never played through the mystery. A sim visited the lab once, and I had fun playing a couple infected locals, but I guess I decided to keep the weirdness as is ;) I just moved one of my in game born sims Sculla Schwaini to StrangerVille Plaza, bringing her daughter who has an alien dad. I imagine they moved her because the girl got into trouble at school in San Myshuno, being different. But Sculla is the one founding my regional UFO club, and obviously has some fascination for StrangerVille. She seems to start a relation with George Cahill, although he has the "no aliens allowed" sign on his door. I love that some worlds are *very* different, not just another nice hood. - dreamoperator235 years agoRising HotshotIt's a gorgeous world. My alien family lives there.
- Isharell5 years agoSeasoned AceWow, those pictures are awesome! I keep meaning to play through it, I just can't decide which sim to use. Maybe I'll just jump in and give it a try.
- EvilBnuuy5 years agoSeasoned AceI forgot to post my fave Strangerville screenshot last night. (It's slightly digitally edited) It's a bit blurry but there's something a bit creepy/isolated but weirdly pretty about it.

Strangerville is one of the worlds that has come up a lot in my various bits of storytelling, I remember I ended up coming up with a lot of my own long-winded headcanons... I like the premades in the town as well although I don't really have any sorts of headcanons for them. - Honestly, really wish we had more lots in Strangerville. It really is pretty and I wish there was more...world-building/bb customizable stuff you can do with The Mother and that whole plotline. Like it would've been a good way to expand upon aliens a bit or at least add more content.

Oh, that's a great idea! I've been at a loss about what to actually do with my one JtB save (I normally stick to one main save, but I'm trying to keep my SW save separate from my main), but that would work perfectly.
I'm not too crazy about the town neighborhood, but I do really love the bluffs area. It's not the kind of climate where I'd like to live in real life, but it really is stunningly beautiful for a virtual visit. Although we're basically in a drought at home, so I'm spending most of my game time these days (sims or otherwise) in snowy climates, not the desert! :D - elliebreton5 years agoLegendHere's a few of my pics:

I really like this one, for some reason:

And with some of the houses:

- netney525 years agoSeasoned AceIt is a stunning world and a very underrated pack and I feel it gets too much hate. It's been nice seeing other simmers pictures and love for this pack <3
- Lonewolf10445 years agoSeasoned AceI do agree Strangerville looks good but that is how far it goes for me.
