I have listed them below in my preferred order, but keep in mind I prefer to play mainly single sims that spend most of their time outside their home lot.

Get Together - club system, and the world
Cottage Living - fun with animals, world is very pretty
City Living - karaoke, apartments, festivals
Snowy Scape - snow activities, japan,
Tiny Living (Stuff pack) - great looking furniture
Parenthood (Game pack) - only if you like to play with families with children
Discover University - only if you like to play school
