Stubborn Sims 3 Player Seeking Advice

It honestly depends on how you play, but I'd make a bundle of Seasons, and either Parenthood and Nifty Knitting (if you're mostly into family play) or Vampires or Realm of Magic and Paranormal Stuff (if you're into occult play). I mean, family occult play is a thing, but I'm trying to keep this to a simple bundle of packs.

I agree that it depends on how you play. I don't usually play families or supernatural sims. I enjoy Seasons and Get Together more than any other expansion. I haven't had Eco Living or Snowy Escape long enough to know if I like them more than Get Together. I enjoy the clubs a lot. I also really like Spa Day.

I just started playing Sims 4 a couple of months ago. My first packs were Seasons, Cats & Dogs, Parenthood, and Tiny Living. I was happy with those choices. I soon added Get Together and Spa Day ... and just kept adding more after that. ? I actually haven't regretted any purchases. I'm enjoying Sims 4 even after loving Sims 3 and never thinking I'd switch.

Since expansions are half off right now, maybe take advantage of that and look into them first.

Well any of the packs will do depending what sort of gameplay that you are looking for. For example: If you want more supernatural gameplay in your game. Might I suggest Get to Work, Vampires, Realm of Magic, and Island Living. Each of these Packs have a supernatural or occult beings in them. If you want more family gameplay, then Parenthood would be what you would want. Cats and Dogs and My first pet stuff, if you want more pets gameplay. If you want a more spooky type of gameplay, Vampires, Realm of Magic, The newly release Paranormal Stuff and Spooky Day Stuff can help you there. Each of Packs that were released so far adds a little bit of gameplay to the game. The gameplay is even more enjoyable if you combine all the Packs together.

Sulani... the world that comes with "Island Living" is my most played world. I like the mermaids, and I just find Sulani to be relaxing. Also "Get Together" is great! Windenburg is the world that shipped with that, and its among the largest of the worlds. The world of San Mayshuno from "City Living" has a lot of places for your sims to live too, Probably the most, But its mostly apartments if you like that sort of thing.
