Suddenly Having Lots of Alien Abductions

Usually the only time my Sims are abducted is when one of them is a Scientist, Astronaut, etc. Basically, everything mentioned in the above posts. However, recently I had a family where none of the established reasons for it were true and the Dad was abducted 3 times! o.O He didn't come back with a little space bun in the oven though. *whew*
Wait! I just realized he plays a lot of chess so his logic must be quite high. That must be the reason he was chosen. Honestly, I was kind of hoping and dreading at the same time he'd come back preggers. I've only had that happen once in all the years I've had GTW, and that was just recently, about a month ago.
Oh well, it's probably for the best he didn't since he was the Dad of my toddler in the Just One Sim challenge. I can only control her so the baby(ies) would've probably been taken away for neglect anyway. Her parents never fed her so I doubt they would've taken care of any alien nooboos either. :/
