Sulani and the Eco Lifestyle EP

The blog says that all worlds except Strangerville & vacation worlds will be impacted. With Sulani having its own Eco challenge, career and clean up the Island thing (I have not played that part yet) wouldn't it be a double whammy if you cleaned up Sulani, but now pollution from Evergreen Harbor impacts it?

How is this gonna work with Sulani, if you choose not to toggle it off?

You're just gonna have to work harder, I guess.
  • Thanks @Sindocat I haven't played that feature yet, so wasn't sure how it worked. In that one save I will likely have it toggled on for all words as that will be what that sim does, improve the world.

I'm curious tho, before I purchase it in the fall or later, how it will impact Sulani and hopefully they will discuss that on the 21st
  • The Sulani pollution is so mild I hardly noticed it when playing the conservationist career. Maybe they will revamp the career and make Sulani dirtier. From the eco trailer the pollution looks really serious which is a good thing.

Saw the simguru twitch walkthrough and it still isn't entirely clear how EL will impact Sulani. EL is sorta like Sulani, because pollution is neighborhood, not world specific. Hopefully, one of the game changers will contrast it to Sulani and focus on its impact

Sulani's gameplay comes from cleaning up garbage.
Eco Living adds smog, which is resolved by altering how you use electricity. Totally different kettle of fish.

Ahhh so @kwanzaabot the island neighborhoods that are on the grid can fill up with smog, but the off the grid island with trash will remain clean and smog free once cleaned?

Hmmm, or one could leave the trash and allow smog there and have a dystopian looking island that needs to be cleaned?
  • Definitely gonna make the neighborhood in Sulani with the garbage gameplay dirty and disgusting.
