Sulani Elementals are revived from ghosts after the 1.110 patch!

I don't think this is the bug even though I'm not happy about it, but Sulani Elementals can't have adult appearance anymore. That's because "All Sims that died because of old age have to be elders!"

After finding the bug about [OPEN] [CD] Captain Whitaker is no longer a ghost

I'm curious if there are more cases about this. Then I found Sulani Elementals in my save file which I edited in CAS and befriended before, all of them are revived to be human after the patch!

Then they were demoted to be human in the mortal world.

And "Sulani Elemental Department (Tentative name)" hired actual elders to do the role instead.

He seems unamused about his situation. 😂

I thought about reversing them to a ghost by using another cause of death and giving them a Sulani Elemental role. But I may allow them to stay alive and have "real color".

At least I don't have to cheat them to be alive to get sims who have "Sulani Mana". The game forced them instead.😗

Do you have Sulani Elemental? If you edited them or befriended them to the level that you recognize them, try checking "Manage Household". You will see the real color of them.

    Ah, I've created a thread collecting these issues on AnswerHQ and asked the developers to reconsider the filters.

    Yeah, Sulani Elementals are generated with Death by Old Age trait and the filter simply requires them to be an unplayed ghost Sulani Mana.

    Putting on another ghost trait is kind of a solution. The thing is that when asking a Sulani Elemental to move in, they should lose their ghost status by having their Death by Old Age trait removed. However, as other ghost traits aren't counted, they'll still be a ghost when asked to move in.

    So yep, such drastic change was made without consulting the previous DLC...

      I think it can be solved if it makes other ghost traits for previous ghosts or spirits that aren't usual from death sim. Ghost improvement is a good thing, but it would be better to cross-check with "every"  DLC before launch.

      I can accept the Sulani Elemental case, but I'm worried (and start to angry) if Guildry issue can't be fixed for an existing old save. I don't want to recreate Guildry and lose the relationship because of this unnecessary bug.

    This is the side effect of ghost traits in CAS, Age requirement.

    Cheat code doesn't work.

      This issue from the new feature is too messy than I expected. I was busy last week and played only Reaper's Reward, so I didn't notice this. (I only play for 2 sim days after the latest patch.)

      Even though I play aging-off and less occult themes still suffer a lot, I feel bad for many people who have a long-time save file with many variations of ghosts. 🤕
