Summer Line-Up Announced

A charming pack about bonding with nature...

Makes me think of a country themed EP based around a quaint European village where we can have small hobby farms raising animals. That would be amazing.

Farming isn't nature, so I doubt the EP is farming. Block party, what does that even mean? Honestly, the part of this announcement that has me the most interested is the base game updates. The base game needs updates, though what I have in mind and what is actually going to happen are probably very, very different.

So we were supposed to get upcoming pack info in the 411 on May 6th, then today, but now tomorrow. All they've done with this trickle news is make me more excited for biomutant and castle flipper that's coming out this month.

And after spending 60$ per game, I'll be less inclined to spend money on the sims4. There's no incentive to not pre-order biomutant and save the money for a sims4 pack.

This tickle pack news is not cutting it anymore for me. They need to start acting like other game companies and just tell us what's coming. Because other game companies are releasing games that they do tell us about and for me those games are taking priority over the sims 4 unknown upcoming packs.

This has got me so intrigued now, I feel like we can safely(?) assume that this will be an active career, absolutely pointless to hype a new career if it's a rabbit hole and this career must be centric to the pack. So now I'm wondering what career is so big that it could have a whole game pack based upon it...

It can also be the grim reaper career. Which would also explain that “bug” when talking to the grim reaper & asking to join him or something? Idk I’m just speculating at this point

Just a random thought, but what if it's an Architect pack and the rumored modular sofa update has something to do with that. Sims could design rooms and houses for other Sims and make money that way. It would also be a good occasion to give players lots of the modern Build/Buy assets that are so popular with CC creators.

It also sounds like Bands/a musician career, though.

GP - a creative pack whose focus is a new career. Doesn't mean that the career is in the creative field, but the approach to it will result in a creative pack...

A creative pack around a career? It could be anything, but if it really is a creative career i could see it being Architect or Musician with the ability to form bands.

EP - bond with nature + charming ep? I can only think in horses. How? I don't know. But horses are charming.
