I don't mind that bars come in nearly every world. Even small villages have a local pub for people to socialise. It's realistic. They come in a variety of styles to match the local clientele (such as the one in SV being bare, like military institutional builds often are, and the one in rural WB having a country pub style).
If cafés had been BG, then they might have used those in some places instead, but they are pack locked so bars it is.
Possible new venue types could include:
- Event Space - For hosting parties and wedding receptions. Hireable by the hour/day for a fee and (buy, not build) editable to decorate within the hiring period. No random visitors. Perhaps a Custodian NPC of some kind so you can tour the venue?
- Place of Worship - Non-denominational religious venue. Hireable for private events, but open to visitors when not hired. Possibly spawns an Officiant NPC of some kind who gives speeches and has counselling type interactions?
